Sheppard is married to J. A. (Andy) Sheppard, author of Countering Heedless Jihad: Toward a Field Manual for Intellectual Sabotage and President of Thomas University.

As First Lady of Thomas University, Dr. Mrs. Sheppard, as she is known in that context, supports TU’s students and programming. She is pleased to represent TU and lend her gifts and talents to that institution.
